What we collect, and why
When you enquire about a property, book a viewing, request a valuation or contact us. Your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about what you are looking for. We use this to respond to you and to keep in touch about that enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked us to help you, and responding is what you would expect.
When you instruct us to sell a property. Everything needed to carry out the instruction: your contact details, details of the property, financial and transaction information, and identity documents. Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, and compliance with our legal obligations.
Anti-money laundering checks. As an estate agency business we are supervised for anti-money laundering purposes and are required to verify the identity of our clients and, in some cases, buyers. This means collecting identity documents and running electronic identity checks. Our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
Marketing. If you have asked to hear from us, or you are an existing client, we may send you property details, newsletters or market updates. You can stop these at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Our website. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful; it sets the _ga and _ga_… cookies. We also set a hive_consent cookie to remember your cookie choice. See our cookie policy for the details.
